The Carnival of Beauty - The Beauty of Sunshine

As a native resident of the Sunshine State, it is my privilege to be able to host the Carnival of Beauty - the Beauty of Sunshine.

I pray that you will be blessed, as I have been, by reading the entries that were submitted for this week's Carnival of Beauty.

Barbara, whose lovely blog is Fuel, has written "How I Learned of God's Omnipresence." Barbara tells of an experience she had when the Lord used the sun as a metaphor for His constant presence in her life, and around the whole world. I love it when the Lord speaks to me through the beauty of His creation.

Blair is a delightful writer that I have known since my early blogging days and she has posted her entry: "ask for the sun more often" at Blair's Scribblings. Blair reflects on her favorite Old Testament battle and concludes that she should "ask for the sun more often." I know that I have read this story several times before, but Blair's reminder was very timely for me this week.

My entry is entitled "It may be dark, but God is Light". I pray that it is an encouragement to anyone who may be stumbling around in the dark - be it a darkness of our own choosing or a valley shadow.

When you visit Barbara and Blair, be sure to comment and let them know that you have been blessed! God is so good to us. He is the way, He is the Light!

The Carnival of Beauty will be hosted next week by Ann at the Holy Experience of Listening and the theme for that week is the Beauty of Sacrifice. Information about participating can be found at Amanda's (Following and Unknown Path).

the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;
the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace."
