Saturday Photo Hunt - "I love......."
For some crazy reason, I decided to participate in NaBloPoMo this year, and I have been challenged in my efforts to create an interesting post every day. Yesterday I failed miserably, I might add. A post - yes, but probably only interesting to me.
Despite the challenge, I have thoroughly enjoyed making new friends through NaBloPoMo - like Beth Vogt, author of Baby Changes Everything - Embracing and Preparing for Motherhood After 35. Yesterday, Beth left the following message on my NaBloPoMo page:
The "heart" photo Beth asked about is on my NaBloPoMo page. It is actually a photograph of one of the heart-shaped cut-outs on my backyard swing. I am intrigued by the variety of textures and the "windows" created by the heart-shaped cut-outs and wood slats. The swing - a place of rest and tranquility - was a gift to me from the man I have loved for over thirty years, and is one of my favorite subjects to photograph.
The collage contains just a few of my photographs of that swing during various times of the year and from different angles.

"I love the picture of the "heart" you use with your name. Is it a nail? Tell me more about it, if you please."I was having difficulty narrowing the choices for today's Photo Hunt theme, but because Beth asked me about a "heart" photo, I concluded that though answering Beth's question would be a stretch on the theme, it could still work.
