My favorite Texan...

Our trip to Texas has sadly come to an end and we are on the road back to Pollywog Creek.

It's been a long day - from tearful Texas goodbyes to all day driving in severe weather through northeast Texas, southwest Arkansas, across northern Louisiana and north and central Mississippi.

We are ready to be home. If only we could bring our favorite Texans home with us.

Oh Patricia, I'm back from vacation too and I'm so happy to hear that you made it to Texas (even if the pain of coming home stinks) I've missed reading your blog. I'm trying to catch up but am failing. I may have to chalk it up as defeat and start fresh.

And, btw, you may dread the FL heat, but it felt heavenly warming up my cold Ohio bones!

I could hardly wait to see that little favorite Texan! Of course my computer monitor went out that morning. I am so glad you got to go see your family. And I hope you are still doing well.
Love,
Cathy

Thank you. I haven't announced it here yet, but I actually get to see Mason again this coming Monday. His other grandparents are flying to Florida for a week and they are bringing Mason with them. He is scheduled to spend the day with us on Monday. I can hardly wait.
