Texas treasures...
It was the people we dearly love that inspired our trip from Pollywog Creek to the countryside of northeast Texas, and those dearly loved ones are most certainly our greatest treasures there, but I was more than thrilled by the delightful spring weather and rolling fields of wildflowers and the interesting birds the perched along the fence and built nests around the house.
If I wait until I have identified them all, I fear that I'll never post them, so for now, here is a sampling...

This trip was much harder on me physically than I had anticipated, but my very best days were while we were in Texas and for that I am most grateful.

Absolutely gorgeous shots, Patricia! Excellent! What kind of camera do you use? :)
Thank you! I have a Sony DSC-H2. It is just a point and click digital, but it has proven a good one for me. Some day I hope to have an SLR. Some day.
You have IDs for the ones I could have helped you with. You also have a magnificent lens on the acamera. I drool with jealousy.
What wonderful photos! They are really clear and colorful!
I came by to see your candy entry and found these, too. What lovely nature shots!
I can help you with two....
4th one down is Queen Ann's Lace
17th one down is a barn swallow.
And ALL of them are beautiful. Not as beautiful as the Mason pictures from Texas though. :)
Karen - thanks!
I love these pictures.
Mama Bear
