Saturday Photo Hunt - Ruin(ed)...
I wasn't sure I would participate in this week's hunt. The theme is not my favorite, but I got tickled when I realized that the photos I posted for last week's theme led right to this one for me...
Sadly, JC, it is my laptop that is most likely ruined. I have loved everything about my Dell except the power connection issues that seem to have finally dealt a fatal blow.
But isn't it funny how there is also a cup of coffee in each of these photos...just like last week?
Here. Let me move those two photos off the top...
See. There's a cup of coffee there, too.
And a baby. Baby Mason. Remember Mason? It's been six long months since I've hugged that sweet thing, but in just two more weeks he'll be right here on Pollywog Creek. I think the photo hunt theme that week should be joy, don't you?

I'm glad you participated... there are some beautiful ruins out there. I wonder if your laptop just needs a new ac adapter. Mine was killing batteries within days and I finally removed the ups surge protector and this latest battery is going on weeks now. I hope you can salvage it :-)

I'm smiling at the ever-present cup of coffee. It is frustrating when computers get ruined. What a sweet little boy!
Wonderful photos. And of course, Mason. He is coming home for Thanksgiving? I am sure those coming days would fill your house with lots of laughter and fun :) And yummy food too.

My Dell is having issues with the power too! Mason sure is a little cutie-pie :) I love seeing babies with hair . . . probably because mine is a little cue ball still!
Speaking of computers: Finally decided to dispense with my +5 year old Dell a few months ago. It generally gave me good service but it was time to move on. Fortunately, I managed to find a computer (Lenovo) which still has Windows XP rather than than Vista on it!
I always love to visit my fellow hunters on Saturday mornings with a good cup of coffee...speaking of, mine is cool and needs refreshed. Nice shots, Patricia. But, we expect nothing less! You're amazing!!!

Oh, death of a computer! Hope you were able to salvage the hard drive! Your blog is beautiful, and the photographs are wonderful!!
My camera was stolen last week. I'm hoping to get a new one. Yours are absolutely inspired! I will come back here often.
Sorry to read about your laptop. I had an old Micron that did that. too. You'd think the companies would make the power connection tough as nails, eh?

Hopefully all the data in your hard drive can be salvaged? Or maybe you just need a new power cord?
I know a few things about ruined computers... but I didn't have the presence of mind to take a photo of the pc that just died on me a couple of weeks ago.

Oh, sorry to hear about your ruined computer... but great take on this week's theme!
It's always sad when computers go. Always something on it that's important... But funny that there is always a mug of coffee by the computer.
That seems to be an issue with Dell laptops. Hope you can salvage yours. Enjoy your time with Mason!

oh, perhaps it still can be repaired. laptops can be expensive, yours might just need some repairs (hope so). Baby Mason looks very cute!!!
oh dear, i hope you can still save it. funny, i also have coffee mug every time i'm in front of my pc.
