Saturday Photo Hunt - Lock...

Notice the layered look he had going on with his shirts? He went through a stage where he didn't want to take off his pajama shirt in the morning, so Kristin just put his pre-school shirt on over it. Two year olds are a riot, aren't they?
Here's a couple of characters at Lion Country Safari that we hope will never learn to unlock their cage...

We found it amusing that we were advised to keep the windows closed and the doors locked as we drove through the park. Did they really think any of the animals roaming free were capable of opening an unlocked car door? Interesting.
Thanks to TNChick, for her faithful and gracious hosting of the Saturday Photo Hunt each week. For "lock" photos from other Photo Hunt participants just click on the Photo Hunter Banner or the Technorati PhotoHunt tag below. The theme for next week's Photo Hunt is "creamy".

Loved your locks... similar to mine... but I didn't have a sweet little boy in my photos... Or a giant lion.. Perfect post!

Sniffie and the Florida Furkids
I love Gavin's layered look... already leading the way to preschool fashion ;-)
I'm, very much, enjoying your Letters from Mimi, too!
Oh... I've heard good things about Paint.net, a Windows program comparable to Photoshop, and free. Never tried it, though, because I have PS. You might enjoy playing with it.
Two-year-olds are the best - so are 3yos, 4yos, sigh. Every age with the boys I say is my favorite. But oh how I miss those toddler years.
Great take on the theme Patricia and beautiful shots as always.
Beautiful photos and story.
Locked car doors in the animal park could be to keep the little rambunctious boys in?
I heard a blonde joke the other day.. I am blonde, sort of... so I can tell it. The blonde called 911 from her car and was hysterical... "what is the problem" asked the operator. "I've locked myself IN the car and I can't get out!"
We lock out, we lock in... go figure?
Thanks for stopping by!
I don't know about the wild animals unlocking a door but we had horses that could untie a knotted rope and open a gate.
Our foster daughter used to open the storm door latch. I got up one morning and found her outside in the rain. We put an old fashioned latch on it up high and she used a broom handle to push it open. This was all before she was years old.

These Lock-photos simply fascinates me.
Different but all of them hit the challenge: Lock.
Thanks for sharing
Patricia, those are great locks, keeping things out or keeping things in. I posted late if you want to stop by. I took a different take on the theme this week.
