Conversational photography and glimpses of glory...

My photographs are not for sale, as some of you have wondered.

I am at best an amateur - with an amateur's camera. A real photographer would likely snicker at my unprofessional, unconventional methods.

My photography begins with a conversation.

"Lord, open my eyes and the lens of my camera and please let me capture the wonder and beauty of Your creation - sunlight and rivers and flowers and bees and birds and vines and frogs and leaves and clouds and lizards and dew drops and dragonfly wings and wild berries and cicada and.....wonders that never cease."

And He does, and it is grace and worship and wonder and awe. Pure and simple. It's God's creation, not mine.

What more could I possibly receive than the joy of catching a glimpse of His glory and passing it on to you?

So my photographs are not for sale, but I'd be delighted to give one to you. Just ask.
Photos: A Sunday morning sunrise over the Caloosahatchee River; a tangle of vines, wildflowers and berries in the thickets by the creek; a little green heron hiding in the branches of a cypress tree by the pond; a pilated woodpecker (I saw four of them that day) in the shadow of a tree trunk; a bluejay perched on a pine tree branch and a mockingbird atop the eucalyptus tree; the sun rising over a dying orange grove.

Wow, I see God's talent in you given freely. What a gift to the world your lens is. Thank you.
Love,
Tiffany
Whoops that is my daughter's google sign in. This is TEA WITH TIFFANY, not Hannah.
You're too modest, dear one. I believe the Lord has given you the gift of sight - seeing His creation - and your camera is your tool to capture what you see. It not only allows you to capture it, but to share it with us, who maybe DON'T see.
I really feel like I could reach out and touch those vines, and pick a berry. The Lord has gifted you, and us.
Pat, you truly are too modest. You have some real gems among your work that any photography enthusiast would be proud to hang on their wall.

I think that's exactly why I enjoy your pictures so much. I feel God's presence through your images.
I enjoy all your photos, and am quite sure God gave you glasses for your heart, to see them and capture them. Thank you for sharing them with us!
I need to tell you, that of all the pictures you've posted, my very favorite that never ceases to make me smile, is the little frog in your header. Somedays, when it's so chaotic and noisy here in my house, I go to Pollywog Creek, say hello to the little frog, and breath in the beauty! when you changed the photo in the header, for about 5 days, it completely discombobulated me!
I got here via The Farmer's Wife... I too love your pictures. I'm thankful your eyes and trigger finger are ready for the images God sends your way! They are a big blessing and a way of enjoying God's creation! Plus when'it's getting brown and dry here in Montana, it's really refreshing to see all the greenery!
Thanks again!
I love that first picture and all your pictures. They are so beautiful.
I just saw this verse tonight. I once started writing a song about it.
Ps 115:16 -
The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD'S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.
We surely do enjoy His Creation, don't we.
