"I must try and cultivate an eye for life's mercies...
And life, while it has its ugly swamps, its vile weeds, and its sharp thorns,
has always its fair flowers to charm the eye with their beauty,
or to fill the air with their fragrance..."
Rev. John Flowers Serjeant, 1878
Oh, Patricia! These pics brought back such sweet memories, first of my dad coaching my brother in Little League, and then of my own son playing t-ball. Something about boys and dads and baseball that just does me in!
Me, too, Nancy. We are big baseball fans...from t-ball to MLB. In fact, for my daughter's 21st birthday, we are going to G'ville to watch the #1 Florida Gator baseball team play. We've been to NYC for a Yankees game at the "house Ruth built" the last year they played there...and living in Florida, I've been going to spring-training games since I was in high school, as well as regular season games in Tampa.
