How exciting! I'm sorry it wasn't the original visitor, but this must have been a thrill none-the-less! She looks beautiful - what a pretty dress.
You know, she seems to suit this role so well - I wonder if there is something in her future along these lines? She has so much poise for a young girl.

Well, she looks very pretty, Patricia. I'm sorry it was not the President'
How wildly exciting! She looks perfect - great outfit.
wow, i envy you, the only thing that would be better would be Mrs VP.
Wow... now there's an experience to remember. Emily looks great and so professional. Do I remember correctly... didn't Emily already shake hands with the President... back when he was a little more popular? Poor guy... he sure is looking tired these days...
Valerie - Thank you. I have no idea what God has in store for my little girl who is fast becoming a young lady - but it sure is exciting to watch how He is working in her life.
Cathy - thank you. We are sorry it wasn't Bush, too, but if you come back tomorrow and read the "rest of the story" you'll see that God blessed us anyway. He always does!
Cathe - thanks. Watching God work in Emily's life is certainly "wildly exciting." I like that.
Charlie - =) I know what you mean. Emily and I were wishing that the White House would send Laura in W's place.
JC - yes, you do remember correctly. Emily and I were given VVIP tickets to a rally in 2004 and Emily was able to stand in the front row and shake both W and Laura's hands. It was another wonderful experience that she cherishes. She has also met Jeb Bush when he was governor of Florida. I'll have to post that photo tomorrow. We also attended the last inauguration, courtesy of dear friends, and because Nick was the Regimental Commander at Kings Point, we got great tickets to the parade and sat with the military. We have NO reason to complain about anything.
