Joy, joy - there's been the slightest hint of fall in the early morning breezes - these waning days of August.
Thank you, good August, for your nourishing rains and lovely greens - and if you'll take your heat, humidity and mosquitoes when you depart, I'll be happier to see you when you return.
An encouraging verse for these Pollywog Creek summers...
"The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen Your frame. You will be like a well watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail." Isaiah 58.11Photos: shades of green this last week of August and a Great Blue Heron at the edge of Michael and Lizbeth's pond

Good morning, Patricia,
I wrote about the same thing in my post today. It's been so nice early mornings these past few days.
Stunning photos of your pollywog creek ~~ each deserves its own frame.
Blessings,
Meems

I'm so not ready - even though it's going to 94 today, I'm not ready for fall, not ready to say goodbye to summer. I'm hanging on with both hands.
I guess I'll need a trip to the south this winter, lol.
Love that verse - one of my favorites!
Such beautiful photographs!! Lovely!
Thank you ladies - as always, you've been most kind.
