I've been particularly frustrated with deadlines lately, and stressed that I've struggled to meet them. I've often wished deadlines didn't exist, but the truth is that I desperately need them.
I'm a shameful perfectionist, and without a deadline I'd never be satisfied that my work was good enough. I'd be stuck in a never ending edit.
A deadline forces me to do my best, call it done and move on. I'd likely benefit from more deadlines in my life.
What about you?
Can you think of a constraint or discipline that seems to make your life stressful or difficult, but in reality it keeps you moving forward?
